Senior eDiscovery Adviser

Millnet has an opening for a Senior eDiscovery Adviser.  We are looking for a highly driven individual with client facing experience and proven eDiscovery success. The successful candidate will be there to provide support to the sales team and pre-sales consultancy to Millnet’s clients.

Responsibilities of this Role include:

Pre-Sales Advice: 

  • New Opportunities: provide presentations, scope more complex matters to understand client requirements, discuss strategies and data collection options, and provide advice in relation to e-Disclosure rules.
  • Working with other departments (Consultancy, Project Management, Forensics & Data Processing) to ensure the right expertise is available during the scoping phase of a new opportunity.
  • Drafting proposals and estimates for more complex matters.
  • Create matter documentation, including proposals, estimates, handover documentation and engagement documents.
  • Completing and help co-ordinate major RFPs or RFIs.

On-boarding New Matters: 

  • Pro-actively close in-bound opportunities for the sales team and or house accounts
  • Ensure there is a smooth transition between the Sales Team and the Operation Team once a project is given the go-ahead.
  • For high value clients and/or significant opportunities, keeping a high level overview of client interaction at the outset of a project to ensure the client is happy and the project is commencing as required.

Networking & Enhancing Existing Client Relationships: 

  • Work with the sales team to enhance our client relationships and increase revenue.
  • Attend lunches, networking events and drinks.
  • Provide generic consultancy to clients to build up trust and increase revenue.
  • Write blog posts, articles and contribute to marketing material.

New Initiatives: 

  • Whilst these Initiatives will be headed up by the Sales Director, the pre-sales consultant will be expected to put forward and implement new business ideas that are intended to significantly increase Millnet’s market share will be essential. 

Desired Skills & Experience 

  • Five years’ experience in eDiscovery
  • Experience of consultative selling at large corporations and law firms
  • Legal and/or technical background
  • Degree Education
  • Expert communication, written and presentational skills
