Advanced Discovery & Millnet expand application support department to offer new custom solutions and software extensions

Growing team of developers can adapt and extend best-of-breed platforms like Relativity to meet the needs of complex corporate data sources and intricate, large-scale discovery

International litigation services provider Advanced Discovery today announced a major expansion of its Application Support department.  Created in 2015, the Application Support department creates custom extensions of the capabilities of platforms like Relativity, crafts custom solutions for handling challenging or proprietary corporate data types, and implements custom workflow solutions for complex litigation.

Leading discovery tools have become very sophisticated, but the needs of corporations and law firms still often exceed their capabilities,” says Evan Craghead, Executive Vice President, Technology.  “Providing our clients with the best possible solutions requires that we have the ability to customize our tools to suit.”

To date, Advanced Discovery has released numerous custom extensions of its eDiscovery ecosystem, including ECA tool XpressLook, visualization tool Visibility, search enhancement SearchMagnifier, program management tool DiscoveryControl, and data reuse tool DiscoveryCore.  The newly expanded Application Support department will be able to continue extending the capabilities of these enhancements while also developing new ecosystem enhancements and custom solutions for Advanced Discovery’s clients.

Rick Hutchinson, Chief Operating Officer, had this to say:

“Effective discovery, regardless of context, is about getting to the right materials as efficiently as possible.  This expansion of our Application Support department with new experts and developers will further enhance our ability to help our corporate and law firm clients do just that.  “Unsupported” is not an answer we ever want to give.”
