Millnet, an Advanced Discovery company, creates custom tool to make mobile device collections easily reviewable in Relativity

New proprietary utility “MobileLook” automatically parses Cellebrite mobile device collections into individual records for easy loading, searching, and review in Relativity

Millnet, an Advanced Discovery company, today announced its creation of a custom tool to make mobile device collections easily reviewable in Relativity.  The proprietary utility, called MobileLook, automatically parses Cellebrite mobile device collections into individual records for easy loading, searching, and review in Relativity.

Review of traditional mobile device collections
Review of materials from mobile devices has long posed a logistical challenge, with all collected materials from a device getting lumped together into one bulk PDF or Excel file.  Review of such bulk files is inefficient, inconvenient, and isolated from the overall document review process, and manually breaking such files down into their component documents for importation into a review platform is time-consuming and costly.

To eliminate this challenge for its clients, Millnet has developed a custom application called MobileLook.  It takes the bulk file output of Cellebrite – the software used for mobile device collections – and automatically parses each document it contains out into an individual record, formatted for immediate Relativity importation.  Version 1 of the tool creates the individual documents with text and key metadata, while maintaining parent-child relationships, and Version 2, coming in late March 2016, will include all metadata mapped to fields in Relativity to facilitate more granular filtering and control.
